DeeSen's "To Beauty" - A Harmonious Blend of Art and Commerce

DeeSen's Award-Winning Design Transforms Medical Plastic Surgery Space

DeeSen, a renowned design team, has breathed life into a medical plastic surgery space with their project "To Beauty". The design, which recently won the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021, is a testament to the team's ability to merge commerce and art, creating a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The project, located in Nanjing, began in October and was completed in April. The space, which spans 700 square meters, was initially a collection of small, disjointed rooms. The design team faced the challenge of transforming this fragmented space into a cohesive unit, while also ensuring that the moving lines were clear and logical. The result is a space that is divided into four core functional areas: reception, negotiation, diagnosis and treatment, and surgery.

DeeSen's design is unique in its use of color and form. The reception area, which serves as the heart of the space, features Morandi colors of white, blue, pink, and purple. These colors, combined with carefully chosen furniture and artwork, create a space that is inviting and comfortable. The consultation area, in contrast, is designed to be more private and inclusive, providing a safe space for patients.

The design team also made innovative use of materials and technology. The front desk, made up of two half arcs, one big and one small, uses white and gold to create a visual effect of "embracing". The background area is composed of five customized aluminum panels of different colors and volumes, which cleverly conceal a protruding fire pipe. The use of numerous 20*20 cube combined lamps, connected into a matrix, forms a winding golden streamline that penetrates the entire space, serving as a guide for movement within the space.

DeeSen's design also demonstrates a thoughtful approach to space utilization. Rather than attempting to make the space appear larger, the design team focused on the furnishings, using brightly colored furniture and artwork to sculpt the most beautiful form of the space. This approach, combined with the team's innovative use of color and form, results in a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

In conclusion, DeeSen's "To Beauty" project is a prime example of how design can transform a space, making it both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The project, which was awarded the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021, demonstrates the team's ability to merge art and commerce, creating a space that is both inviting and comfortable for patients. As the design team looks to the future, they continue to bring the dreams of young people closer to reality, one design at a time.
